About Ellyn
Ellyn Dorsey is experienced, professional and dedicated to the business of Real Estate and her clients. Ellyn holds both an Illinois Broker and a Wisconsin Broker license. With 29 years of experience, and 9 of those as a Broker Manager, her level of competence is unquestionably enormous. Ellyn takes her business and her clients' needs to heart and will not stop until she has met, actually exceeded, the expectations and desires of her clients.
Ellyn Dorsey has a background that lends itself to the business. Previously she was an Elementary School teacher and a Certified Paralegal. The skill sets from both these occupations are of great value and used over and over when working with her clients. Ellyn chose to enter Residential Real Estate, despite a background in Commercial Leasing and Building Management, to do a better job of handling the needs of the Residential Customer and she has done just that! In fact she has made Customer Service her top priority. She does so by listening to her clients from the moment she meets them to the day when they sell or buy their dream property. Her goal is to maintain that positive relationship through a successful closing and after. She is never too busy for her clients or their referrals.
Ellyn grew up in Evanston, Illinois. She graduated with a BA from the University of Miami. Currently she resides in Green Oaks, Illinois. Ellyn's expertise is in the North and Northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Ellyn Dorsey is an avid horsewoman who owns, shows and breeds American Saddlebred horses. She has been involved in this sport since the age of 8 years old and continues to be highly involved at the World Class level. As such, Ellyn has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Equestrian's Real Estate needs. Her contacts throughout the Equestrian world are many, ranging from the East Coast to the West Coast and covering many disciplines.
